Joe died

Our neighbor Joe passed away just now. I can only think of how greatful I am for the life the God has given me. Someone with such a rebelious heart than has trouble constantly with obedience in the face of such a geat gift of salvation. I want to fall on my face before my Lord and give thanks.

weekend pool party

We just hung out at Bill's house and stayed cool in the pool. We BBQ hamburgers too. Nice and relaxing.

Thsi was shot at Joliet Illinois at a Lotus Experience day. David Minter was my instructor. He gets a lot of footage in the Elise story done by Discovery Channel. What a funny and great diver. Was absolutley delighted that he was my instructor.

Neighbor's death

Tonight we took dinner over to our neighbor. Her husband Joe is dying of MS. We feel realy out of place with the family there and Joe only having hours to live. It is very hard on Chris as her sister Linda is facing the same end. We prayed with them as they are all Christians and Joe will be face to face with Jesus soon. Our other neighbor Marylin's husband is dying with enphesema in the next couple of years as well. They do not know our savior, so please pray for them.
Joe will most likely be gone by this time tomorrow so please remember his family as well. Death will more thatn likely come to all of us at some point. I am glad that Chris and I have not had to deal with it in our imediate family.

This is the New River. at the end in the distance you can see our comunity.
This is awesome in the morning. The condensation on the river builds up until it covers everything only to slowly recead back into the river with the rising of the sun.
This is the view at the back of the property to the river. Eighty acres of farm land and only one house visable in the mountians across the river.
This is the view towards town. the front of the house will face this way which is north.

Trip from the town of Pembroke up to our property next to Castle Rock golf course. after the second hard left at the golf course with the white fence it is on the courner of the next right hand turn.
